About the Owner
Hello! I’m Dawn Hess, the owner of Wags-n-Wheels! Inspired by my love for dogs of every breed, I decided to branch out and start this business as a fun, part-time job as I near my retirement to share my love for caring for your precious pooches!
I come from a horticultural background and have owned my own landscaping business for many years. My green thumb has taught me the skills of nurturing, caring, and attentiveness, all of which will be useful skills to apply when caring for your pups!
Dogs have always been a major part of my family. In fact, the dogs pictured in the windows of the Wags-n-Wheels bus are drawings of all of my family’s dogs (past and present) and were illustrated by my own wonderfully talented daughter, Jenna!
About the Business
Wags-n-Wheels is a Doggie Field Trip Adventure service that will come to you and your pups! Our dog-friendly bus will come to your home, pick up your pooches, and transport them to and from a secure, private, gated, three-acre field for a few hours of fun, frolicking, and friends. Choose from one of three “Adventure Packages” and give your pup the exciting day it deserves! Pick-ups are limited to Millersville Boro, Manor Township and the immediate surrounding areas. For everyone else, we have a Doggie Bus Stop located at Hess Auto Care on Manor Ave and at Hess's Repair Inc on Central Manor Road, where you can drop off your pups for pick up so they don’t miss out on the adventures ahead!
